The tea light holder opening has a 2” diameter and is 3 1/2“ tall

the 2” tea lights I use fit perfectly through the opening

the diameter would help determine what cups or tea pots will be compatible and the height affects how quickly the vessel is heated (3” heats rather quickly 4”+ is more drawn out)
